Quick help with driving Luxeon Rebels (array)

Hey all, just had a little project I wanted to undertake but wanted to see if anyone had any experience with Luxeon Rebels. I've been out of the game for a bit and looks like technology has skyrocketed quite a bit, in a positive way. I had an idea for some simple LED brake lights which aren't too complex to make and don't require heavy tail housing modification.

I wanted to drive a single 7-up Red Luxeon Rebel Sinkpad (Red) for some brake/taillights but wanted to know if anyone had any experience with dimming them for PWM (park light operation).

I'll probably have to heatsink them depending on how bright they will be, but I guess my problem is that I don't know how to properly drive / dim them. The BuckPuck data sheet shows that it offers "External Pulse / Strobe Control" , or in other words, external dimming (?)

For a single led array like this, how hard would it be to interface it for a Stop/Tail function? I'm guessing a BuckPuck with a seperate 555 Timer circuit for the logic input (PWM dimming... or pulsing?) would be required. I probably have to study a few circuits to familiarize myself.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
